Kwik Fly II ARF Global #3
Tiger II
| The Tiger II is my first RC power plane. The model came together well, despite some parts that were wrongly installed. For instance, the firewall was attached inverted, that is the pushrod was on the wrong side. We did also have to replace some hardware that did not fit, such as the main and front gear plus their plastic mounts. Once finished the Tiger II is a joy to fly. | |||||||||||||||||||

T-773
| Hmmm, where should I start. The T-773 was originally a trainer when I bought it (a long, long time ago). When I took it out of the closet I attempted of modify it so it could serve my kids as a very easy trainer. With the flaps fully extended you can almost harrier. Landing is rather difficult because the T-773 likes to bounce. Once in the air the plane has a wide speed envelope and flies ok, although not great. | |||||||||||||||||||||

Tiger II
| This is my first powered plane. The Tiger II flies really great and is easy to fly. It is very stable and flies where you point it. Because my brother and I built the same plane we decided to cover the planes differently so we can distinguish them in the air. | |||||||||||||||||||

Antares F3A from Simprop
| I begun to build that plane when I was still studying for my engineering degree in Zurich; after that the plane waited almost two decades at my parents place before my brother sent it to my new home. The plane was originally painted all black, I modified the paint schema so that it looks more like a Russian fighter (Mig-3). I had a couple of nice flights with the Antares (which flies very nice by the way) until the engine quit during a go around, too far away for me too notice. The damage was not substantial but difficult to fix because of the age wood, therefore, my Antares is now decorating our living room. | |||||||||||||||||||

Giles G-202 Modeltech
| Well, in every hangar there is a lemon or two. This one is mine. I flew the G-202 a couple of times but it never felt right and because of the high weight it wasn’t at all a joy to fly. Too me the wings are too small for the fuselage (even if it is scale). Before sending the G-202 to an untimely end I decided to hang it up at my work office, where it nicely decorates the room and attracts dust. | |||||||||||||||||||
